Thermo Star sets rigorous quality control standards, which measure and ensure that the technical specifications of the products are strictly adhered to. The quality management system is based on the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, for which we are certified.
Our products and components are inspected and tested during the process and in the finished product, aiming to mitigate defects, failures, and leaks, in order to ensure reliability and quality.
Our main working objective is to ensure constant satisfaction of our customers. For this, product conformity and service quality are key points, and we strive daily to improve processes and technological development.

Hansa Equipamentos, as it was then called, was founded on May 2, 2006, with headquarters in Massaranduba, in the north of the state of Santa Catarina Brasil. It was born from the dream of an entrepreneurial couple and began its history in the market of refrigeration equipment for transportation.
In 2009, with the aim of keeping up with market trends, we added new innovative technologies to our equipment line.
In 2011, we received the granting of the ‘Thermo Star’ brand registration, incorporating the brand into the company’s corporate name, changing our name to ‘Thermo Star Equipamentos Ltda.’, consolidating the company in the national market. Also, in the same year, we expanded the industrial area to 3000m², facilitating and improving the production flow.
In 2012, in search of new paths and challenges, Thermo Star made its mark in the competitive international market with the export and import of products.
In 2013, we held the first convention for our Technical Assistants, STAR TEC, with the aim of continuously training them and ensuring the provision of Thermo Star quality service throughout Brazil. Two more editions were held, in 2015 and 2019.
In 2015, we invested in design and technology, launching the TSE 64 equipment, further improving the performance and convenience of our customers’ operations. With an innovative and exclusive design, the equipment became our best-selling product.
In 2018, we participated in Expo Carga, held in Mexico. It was the first international business fair where we were exhibitors.
In 2019, we participated as exhibitors at Fenatran, the largest transportation sector fair in Latin America, which had more than 62,000 visitors. We also participated in China Refrigeration, one of the largest refrigeration fairs in the world, in Shanghai.
Also in 2019, we expanded our fleet of vehicles to accelerate the process of equipment delivery and receipt of goods.
In 2020, we expanded the list of countries where we are present, delivering equipment to Asian countries, in addition to countries in South and North America.
In 2024, committed to the rigor of European Union Standards, we achieved the CE Marking, ensuring compliance with the highest health, safety, and environmental standards. Additionally, we carried out the first installations in Europe, further expanding our global presence.
